The new issue of Poetry Wales is themed on 'teaching' and considers poems about learning, the education system and the role of teachers.
The magazine also carries new poems that are unrelated to the central theme. My two poems ask and answer the same question. 'False Coral Snake Sonnet' considers the great acts of subterfuge which determine political and social policy, while 'Do it Ourselves' offers a hopeful antidote.
